I head the Security and Networks Research Group in the Department of Computer Science

I left Grahamstown in 2001, after a number of years studying at Rhodes University, finally graduating with a Masters in Computer Science. Arriving in Cape Town I started a two and a half year stint as a Firewall and Network engineer in Cape Town with iTouch, a Wireless Application Service Provider (WASP), with offices scattered around the globe. During this period, I spent quite a bit of time working at the offices in Thailand and Indonesia. I have recently returned back to Grahamstown to take up a position on the Academic staff of the Computer Science Department, Rhodes University.
