My research has focused on extensions to the Linda coordination language for parallel and distributed programming, using Java as an implementation language. More details are available, if you're interested.
I teach various courses in the Computer Science Department, mainly programming language-related. Most recently, I have taught sections of the first year programming course (Java), CS2 Advanced Programming, and Honours Distributed and Parallel Programming.
I am also a Sun-certified Java Programmer, and have been involved with commercial Java training.
